Full Time Maintenance Associate/Driver in Bel-Air
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Associate /Driver to join our team of 7 in a fully staffed residence. This will be our second maintenance/driver and covers a 30k sq ft residence. During the time that the Principles are home this person will be expected to provide safe and reliable transportation for the Principles. It is your responsibility to support the Principles’ transportation schedule and ensure a seamless and comfortable travel experience. When you are not driving, you will act as a Maintenance Associate (Houseman) performing a variety of repairs, maintenance, cleaning, and renovation tasks to ensure the property is in optimal condition. You will report to the House Manager and ultimately, principals.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport the Principle(s) and guests to and from various destinations, including appointments, airport transfer, meetings, social events etc.
Occasionally run errands including, deliveries, pharmacy, grocery pick up.
Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the vehicles, both interior and exterior.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the vehicles, including checking fuel, oil, and tire pressure.
Perform general maintenance/monitoring tasks such as plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC systems. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
Cleaning/maintenance of the grounds. Examples: moving/cleaning patio furniture, cleaning outdoor lighting fixtures, cleaning art pieces, deck maintenance, etc.
Handle minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
General support with the family dogs. Take the dogs to appointments, feed them, give medication as needed.
Assist during events. Examples: parking guest vehicles, assist with dishes/cleaning, restocking items, etc.
Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to coordinate larger repair projects.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Responsible for technology within the home. Examples: familiarity with iPhones/iPad, theater systems, audio video familiarity.
Uphold safety standards and regulations while performing tasks.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Worker or similar role.
Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Excellent Communication skills.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Physical ability to assist the Principle(s) and/or clients with entering and exiting the vehicle and handling luggage.
Proficiency in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance and repair work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must like dogs.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training is a plus.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
Must be able to frequently lift 20 lbs
