House Manager/Nanny in Hancock Park

We’re looking for a capable and competent House Manager/Nanny in Hancock Park. Children are 9, 13, and 16 years old. The oldest one is only there 2 weeks at a time. Hours are Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm, occasional weekends. Ability to travel is a plus, but not required. Family has 3 medium dogs - MUST LOVE DOGS! If you’re willing to go to the farmer’s market and cook healthy meals, that is a HUGE plus, but not required. Although the responsibilities of this role are those of a Nanny/Family Assistant, you will be given a House Manager/Nanny title. This would be a great stepping stone for those of you looking to move into house management.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick up the 9 year old from school, make sure kids get their homework done, pack their backpacks for the day, shower and are in bed

• Drive kids to their activities (OT and guitar lessons) and any other activities

• Managing calendars and scheduling (No school days for kids, doctor's appointments, camps, trips), Making sure everything is ready - school and camp forms are filled out, Annual physical is scheduled, kids have all items and clothes before trips

• Help packing kids bags for trips

• Managing the mom's personal calendar - Appointments, trips etc - communicate with travel agents, coordinate with household staff days off and coverage for those days

• Care for pets (ensure there is enough food and supplies, feed dogs, communicate with dog walkers, arrange boarding for dogs), feed all three dogs, watch them as they play in the driveway

• Manage the household, grocery shopping when needed, manage deliveries (schedule time for items to be delivered at the house), handle packages, run errands (dry cleaning, tailor, repairs etc), organize closets in household (garage, pantry etc)
  

Salary: $40-$45/hr + full benefits
