Part Time Family Assistant/Driver in Beverly Hills

This wonderful family that we've worked with extensively is looking for a part-time family assistant and driver (20-30 hours per week). There are 2 twin girls – age 15 and each goes to a different school. The family assistant will drive the kids to the bus in the morning, run errands, pick them up from the bus and prepare dinner for them. Need to be available for early mornings, late afternoons and the weekend is a priority.

The perfect family assistant and driver must have experience working in a private household with teenagers, have a stellar driving record and wonderful references. You will be part of a domestic team which includes a full-time personal assistant, housekeeper, and a weekend nanny. The perfect candidate will be energetic, professional with a can-do attitude! Must be upbeat and have a happy service-oriented demeanor and the ability to understand professional boundaries and private space are necessary.

Your day will start at the house around 7:15am to take each girl to their bus stops. After that you might get a list of errands or what needs to get done around the house for the twins but there might not been anything needed until you pick up the girls at different bus stops at different times (4pm – 7pm) in the afternoon/early evening. You will work closely with Dad and his personal assistant and with the twin’s daily schedule. Having calendar experience is a must. The family needs someone who is flexible and fluid as the schedule and needs change from day to day. This job will be different every day. Dad or his personal assistant will connect with you in the evenings to go over the next day’s schedule.

Some of the duties will include packing for travel, grocery shopping, errands to the store to pick something up or return packages. Sometimes the girls need to be picked up from school and taken to an afternoon activity. Often, it’s one girl going this way and another going that way. You may be waiting at the activity or coming back to get something done. Dad really wants to find someone who is ON IT and who can take the initiative! The family would love to find the kind of assistant who is “okay tidying” the kitchen when the kitchen looks a bit messy.

This role will more than likely work for a creative or someone who has side projects they can work on as needed.

Salary: $40-$50/hour DOE
